William K. Harris Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

William K. Harris succeeded his father, Bernard C. Harris, as President and Chief Executive Officer in 1990 and as Chairman in 1997, successfully leading Harris Publishing into a phase of strong growth and technological innovation. Bill’s dedication to extending the publishing company’s strengths in database management to the Internet is evident through the introduction of a suite of private-label Internet solutions that facilitates stronger online communications, fundraising and e-commerce capabilities. Other products and services established during his tenure include CD-ROM directories, data research services and database modeling.

Bill also led the re-branding of the Company from Bernard C. Harris Publishing Company, Inc. to Harris Connect, Inc. in 2005. In his formative years at Harris Connect, Bill gained experience in production management, information technology and sales and marketing. He received an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a BS in Marketing from Villanova University, and is a 2000 graduate of the Owner/Presidents Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a line officer in the US Navy.

Paul A. Gangi Senior Vice President/ Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Paul A. Gangi has 20 years of experience in the on-line industry. He joined Harris Connect from Dow Jones, where he served as Director of Service, Operations, and Development while launching Barron’s Online. Prior to this, he spent 8 years at Prodigy Services Company. Among Paul’s accomplishments are: Launching internet e-mail and newsgroups on the Prodigy Service, launching the first e-mail applications with built in photographs and sound, and launching the first electronic greeting card application in partnership with American Greeting Cards. Paul also migrated the Prodigy online shopping application from the proprietary Prodigy Service to the World Wide Web. He pioneered the industry’s first use of opt-out managed, targeted promotional email to Prodigy Service members driving online store traffic and purchases.

Paul began his career as a finance and business analyst for Irving Trust Company, Macmillan Publishers, and Harper & Row. He received his MBA from Pace University and a BS in Finance and Computer Science from Boston College.

Thomas K. Burke Chief Financial Officer

Thomas K. Burke started at Harris Connect in 2003 as Controller of Business Operations. He was quickly promoted to Senior VP/Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Harris Connect, Tom spent over 15 years at Pitney Bowes in Stamford, CT, where he held various managerial positions in Finance and two division controllerships. Earlier in his career, Tom held senior auditing positions at The Nestle Company, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc., and at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.

Tom holds a CPA, as well as an MS in Accounting from SUNY Albany. He earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY Stony Brook.

Susan L. D'Agostino Senior Vice President of Operations & Administration

Susan L. D'Agostino has been with Harris Connect since 1994. She first joined the Company as Director of Sales Administration. Through her career progression at the firm, Susan was given increasingly responsible management roles in operations, culminating with her promotion to Senior VP of Administration in 2002. Susan is now responsible for Human Resources, Contract Administration and Compliance, and General Services.

Before she came to Harris Connect, Susan held managerial roles in contracts and general administration at W.J. Schafer Associates, Oce Business Systems, Ray Proof Shielding, and Farrel Company. She has an MBA in International Marketing from University of New Haven and a BA in Foreign Languages from Southern Connecticut State.

Kurt D. Worrell Senior Vice President of Consumer Sales & Marketing

Kurt D. Worrell joined the firm in 1990. Kurt has held management positions in virtually all areas of the Company’s operations; has worked as a technical consultant for the sales teams; and, in 2004, was a driving force in implementing the launch of the Data Services product line. His current responsibilities include overseeing the consumer-facing areas of the publishing operation—Consumer Sales and Marketing. Kurt’s multi-layered understanding of the business serves him well as the newest member of the senior executive team.

Kurt’s educational background includes a BS in Business Communications from Bentley College.
