Fairfield University Strengthens Connections with Alumni Worldwide
In May 2006, in partnership with Harris Connect, Fairfield University launched an online service that featured a searchable online directory, online class notes, email forwarding, career advisory network, broadcast email, events registration and online giving pages. The launch of these dynamic Internet Services has been a catalyst for Fairfield University to expand and enhance communication with alumni around the world, and to offer new ways to support alumni professionally. Online Giving Up Nearly 300% at Emory University
In the first two years of Emory University’s partnership with Harris Connect for online giving, the Annual Fund office saw a huge increase in online giving - both in the number of online gifts and the total funds raised. They also experienced a significant growth in matching gifts- a 50% increase. Flint Central HS Alumni Association Uses the Power of Email Marketing to Reconnect with Alumni
In partnership with Harris Connect, Flint Central High School Alumni Association maintains an alumni online community with services including a searchable online directory, class notes and reunion message boards, and tools including email marketing. The association uses the power of email marketing to quickly get the word out to their nearly 7,000 alumni for events such as fund raisers and reunions. It’s helped them increase attendance, as well as obtain donations from alumni who wanted to show their support, but couldn’t attend.
